Response to “FFA is Lame AF” Blog Post
As we all know PETA has attacked the FFA. Instantly, it went viral. People across America have had many responses to this blog post. Here is mine:
This is my first year in FFA. I absolutely love it and I will continue my agriculture experiences throughout high school. There are many wonderful teams that teach leadership, teamwork, and shows the appropriate ways to act and represent your school. For instance, I was in a team called issues. It taught me how to speak with the appropriate voice level and a voice that really speaks to the audience. On the way to our district convention, a bus load of kids from White Oak high school and middle school prepared for what would determine if they would go on to regionals and state and national competitions. I had loads of fun communicating with people from other schools and making new friends with people that I thought I wouldn’t ever be close with.
As of now, I’m in a team called vet tech. It teaches my team what instruments are used for surgical use and these really cool things that for instance, count different cells or shows us how many forceps there actually are in the surgical world. I’ve learned to memorize 286 questions about veterinary scenarios. It teaches me how to deal with animals that are in need and how to deal with different situations.
Our teacher has taught us the creed, animal rights, and different breeds of cattle and pig. It is a very exciting class and my classmates and I have enjoyed this class. This organization is not just slaughter and killing animals. We also learn about plants, business management, speaking skills, chapter conducting, etc.. I encourage you to get involved in this amazing organization and learn all the really cool things in the agricultlure world.

My role model
My step dad is an exciting and funny person; his name is Logan. Logan always works hard, always helpful, and is really crazy.
Logan is helpful by helping us with homework. When our dirtbikes don’t work, he’ll fix them and then tell us what to do if they stop again. He is a hard worker because when we are all outside playing he’ll be working on trucks or on our fence for about two or three hours. For example once our uncle came over and his truck didn’t work much, so he worked on it for about 2 hours. When we go riding he will ride on the side on the fourwheeler, so in this case he is crazy. He is crazy , but he always warns us about the things we do so we don’t get hurt.
What I’ve learned from Logan is to always do my best, help others, and to act a little crazy, but to stay on safe at the same time.
War Criminals
The trials were held in the city of Nuremberg between November 20, 1945 and October 1, 1946.
One reason these people were persecuted was because they killed people by shooting the Jews when they were sick or hanging the people that tried to escape. Another reason they were persecuted was because they enslaved the Jews by making them work and dig.
There were 22 major Nazi criminals, 12 were sentenced to death, most admitted to the crime they were accused of doing.

Best gift given
I gave my friend an X-box controller because he’s been wanting one for a long time. It made me feel good when he opened it. When he took off the paper he had a huge smile on his face. I would guess it made him feel good too because he told me that he liked it. “It is better to give than receive” means that some kids don’t get presents or lose them in an accident so when you offer to get them something it makes you feel like you’ve done the right thing by helping them.
